Leidi Salazar - JULIA CASTILLO

Began her artistic career in Colombia, her native home. Leidi performed at her school theater and other neighborhood stages, enjoyed folkloric dancing, play instruments for her school's band and was a also a cheerleader. When she came to United States a few years back, Leidi study drama at Raul Julia Training Unit, part of the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater. While at the Unit, she performed in Lysistrata among other challenging roles. Acting and the arts are an essential part of Leidi's life She is also a graphical design student presently attending a visual arts college in NY, as she continues to develop her acting skills for the stage and film.

Carolina Ravassa - DIANA CASTILLO

Carolina Ravassa has been dancing, singing and acting since the age of four. Her film work includes Disney's Step Up 3-D, a recent indie called Maybe Tomorrow, I Am Julia about the current bully situation in schools, Discovery Channel's Nueva York, and films in her home town, Cali, Colombia She has performed in Eve Ensler's Fur is Back at the National Comedy Theatre and several shows at The Wings Theatre in the West Village. Besides acting, she also loved studying with Augusto Boal in Rio de Janeiro, while understanding the power of socio-political change through images and drama. From dancing in Colombia to expressing in Brazil to training in the US, theatre has been at the core of her life and now she is taking the next step in multi-lingual, ethnically diverse films.

Tationna Bosier - SHARON WOODS

On a whim Tationna auditioned for BET's shows “College Hill Interns”. After landing the role, she became popular amongst the urban community. Modeled for Complex magazine whose website named her I of 9 Hottest Honduran Women She appeared Ads campaigns for Conway & Footlocker and graced the 2011 cover of “Today's Black Woman” alongside pop singers Keri Hilson and Rihanna. Her grandfather Jimmy Merchant, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, advised Tationna to get a BA theater in theater, which she did from The City College of New York She co-starred in a sketch on Comedy Central's “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”, starred in “Sex, Love & Choices” soap opera series for HIV prevention funded by The National Institute of Health, which featured in The New York Times highlighting Tationna and was also interview by Liv Tyler for CW nightly news. Tationna premiered in Mary's Journal directed by Nyle Cavazos Garcia at Tribeca Cinemas She will star in Dan Adams gritty dance drama “New York's Flyest”, the love interest in Brian Kazmarck's in “Terminal Legacy” and in the series “Boys and Girls”. Was a spokesperson for Usher's “I can't but you can” foundation.

Doua Moua – NOAH

Doua is a New York based actor. Originally from Saint Paul, MN. He was recently seen in Clint Eastwood's latest film “Gran Torino” playing the role of Spider. As well as Scott McGehee and David Siegel's film “Uncertainty” playing the role Café Clerk. As one of Phare Play Pro. members, Moua has been part of production such as Lysistrata, WWSS, Moonbite. With Yvua Jiu Productions Moua has appeared as Chao in “Magic Robe”, Inho in “Tale of the White Fox”. Manhattan Rep. Theatre Doua played Ong Khan in “1120 Underdog”. Learn more about Doua Moua.

Taylor Sele - COACH TAYLOR

A West African born Actor, Taylor Sele moved from Monrovia, Liberia, to New York City as a child with his family. The youngest of his siblings, Taylor often found himself playing the part of “family entertainer,” a role he fully embraced. His formal introduction to acting was made by his sister, a student at New York's LaGuardia High School for the performing arts, who encourage him to participate in plays and music recitals.

He left New York to attended Lawrence Academy—a college preparatory boarding school in Groton, Massachusetts—where he participated in theater and played varsity football. An accomplished student-athlete, Taylor received a full athletic scholarship to Boston College. He earned his BA in Communications; studied acting; and modeled in his free time from athletic and academic commitments.

After Graduating from Boston College, Taylor signed a free-agent NFL contract with the Super Bowl Champion, Indianapolis Colts. Although his football career was cut short by injuries, he views it as an opportunity to fully immerse himself in his creative pursuits. With increasing opportunities in film and television—including lead roles in several Independent projects and national commercials, Taylor is excited to see where his journey of artistic exploration will take him.

Ashton Swinford – MS SMITH

Ashton, born to squatters in NYC's Astor Place, began performing at age 6 She continued acting at the UofMN and was recruited to play soccer. Performed with both the Univ & local theater companies. Worked 2 successful seasons with the HipHop Comittee Theater co., as an actress, singer & spoken word artist, she returned to NYC. Was directing & acting for companies like Red Fern, Vampire Cowboys, Manhattan Rep, The Lark & LAByrinth She was accepted into the Stella Adler Studio where she met Robyn Lee, now co-founder of IN THE MOMENT Repertory, they collaborated in co-writing & publishing IN THE MOMENT: The Art of Being, a book on the acting method created by Robyn Lee. As managing dir of In The Moment Rep, Ashton creates & perform a series of experimental street theater projects: “Invisible Theater” which has garnered much attention from the art community She is also a recording artist, performing and cutting the dubstep album ‘Saturn Return' with Ernesto Pantin and ‘Daylight' with DJ Price. Ashton has been featured in various films throughout the country, she can be seen numerous film festivals: Athens International, Zero, VisionFest, NY Intl and Tribeca Film Festival, among others. On Television she plays Rochelle on FOX's New Girl opposite Zooey Deschanel.

Steve Arons - PRINCIPAL MORGAN

Steve won the Outstanding Actor award at the 2011Midtown International Theatre Festival Awards. He's been featured in over fifty indie films, many in leading roles, including his starring role in TOXIC ORANGES, which received the Best Film Award at the Rincon Film Festival, among others. TV audiences have seen Steve on NBC and on the Fox Network.

Philippe Bernardin -MR. WOODS

Philippe Bernardin is a NYC public school teacher and decided to pursue acting three years ago. During this time Philippe has appeared in numerous independent films, commercials, web series, stage plays, and music videos. He is also a writer and is currently developing a new project, enjoying the challenges of bring new and different characters to life.

John Ramaine - ATTORNEY BEN RICHARDS

John was born and raised in San Francisco. After a stint in the Air Force, he moved to New York City to pursue a theatrical career. Attending the American Academy of the Dramatic Arts and began working upon graduation Starting out in musical theater he performed in the national tour of Man of La Mancha . He wrote, produced and acted in the Off-Broadway play, The Loft before shifting gears toward film. John received the best actor award from the Cine Film Festival for his work on the comedic short, Writer's Block. He also co-starred in the feature film, Stanley Cuba, The Archive, Inner Circle and Winged Rats Starred in the western, Contrition, directed by Jason Begue and received a best actor nomination from the VisionFest in Tribeca in 2010. Also wrote, produced and starred in festival favorite, Psychobabble and co-wrote the screenplay for I am Julia, both directed by production partner, David Capurso. Is also a member of the writing staff of Brooklyn Independent Studios, John's screenplay titled, 79 Parts was announced by Variety magazine as a production in progress and will begin pre-production by the fall of 2011. John's other written works include, The Fake, Sic Semper Tyrannus and Thanksgiving.

Derek Stusynski - GUS

Was born and raised on a farm in Karlstad, MN. He moved to New York straight out of high school to attend The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts Since graduating, Derek has been very active in the New York film and television industry, and is constantly searching for new projects. He's currently starring as Josh Davis in the award winning web series, “The RAs.” Writing is another passion of Derek's. He's been developing a fictional series for a number of years and is currently seeking publication for his first book, titled “Cyropathia.” Derek continues to learn by attending acting classes and interning for casting directors as much as possible. In his free time, he enjoys roller balding, playing Wii, and jamming out to Taylor Swift.

Brenda Gomez - SUSAN

Brenda is a bilingual New York base actress of Caribbean descent She was raised in the small providence of Bonao, where from age 5 her grandmother encouraged her to join the church choir, which she loved. When she was 12. Brenda moved to the United States to join her family. During high school she performed in the musical production of Cabaret as one of the lead dancers. Upon graduation her passion for musical theatre led her to joined the Atlantic Acting School in NY, where she intensely trained for film, commercials and television She landed her first supporting role in the film I am Julia right after completing her training at the Atlantic Acting School. Brenda continues to audition and develop her skills in acting.
